Charles D. Amata Jr. is President & CEO of Business Works of Ohio, a management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company dedicated to serving the needs of small and mid-sized businesses.
Mr. Amata is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing short & long term strategies, and for all interactions with clients and employees. Mr. Amata is Business Works primary decision maker and policy maker, setting the tone of the companies values, ethics, and culture.
Business Works of Ohio’s commitment to delivering the highest quality products and services to it’s clients is personified by Mr. Amata. During his 30+ year career, he has built a reputation for his strong work ethic, results oriented consensus building, and the exceptional ability to forge and maintain major client relationships.
Prior to starting Business Works of Ohio, Mr. Amata was President of a central Ohio manufacturing operation, providing leadership and servicing a variety of small and large businesses worldwide for a period of more than 20 years. Business Works of Ohio continues to provide ongoing consulting services for this organization.
Mr. Amata attended the University of Notre Dame where he received a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. Following graduation, Mr. Amata honed his technical, business, and leadership skills at an internationally recognized machine tool builder over a period of 14 years before coming to Central Ohio. He and his wife have two children.

Dolores (Lori) M. Amata (Co-Founder, Partner)
Dolores M. Amata is Co-Founder, and Partner at Business Works of Ohio where she is responsible for managing and interacting with new and existing clients. Ms. Amata also serves on Business Works of Ohio’s board of directors.
Prior to starting Business Works of Ohio, Ms. Amata has provided Accounting and Human Resource management to Central Ohio businesses for a period of more than 30 years. Here, she is the leader and primary motivator for all Accounting and HR related activities. She has also held leadership roles at a major media placement agency in Cincinnati and a large grocery retailer.
Ms. Amata attended the University of Notre Dame where she received a bachelors degree in Communications and Business.
